Joomla Component Review, Morfeoshow Gallery formats and settings

I was assigned a task by Mr. Otter, recently. It was basically to do a review on available Gallery Components for the Joomla CMS. I will do a quick review for the component Morfeoshow image gallery along with screen shots to give you an insight over it. I have used graphics to expose the functionality and usability for component in review. So let’s start here.
The Morfeoshow Gallery
I hope for you all know how to install a component in Joomla. If not than get yourself some help from Google. Alright, after installing the Morfeoshow Gallery, let’s go straight to the component back end Panel, inside Joomla. It gives us three main options,
1. Manage Galleries
2. Settings
3. Info
We are not much concerned with the info part, so I’m going straight into the Galleries Section. Let’s unveil it first,
You can make new Galleries
The Galleries can have eight different formats, each format has a different layout and settings. Below are the screen shots for all the eight galleries layout you can enjoy while using Morfeoshow.
Format 1: The Classic Gallery
You can do settings for classic gallery at the back end

You can also start the slide show for the images
Format 2: The Flash Image Rotator Gallery
The back end settings are similar, just choose flash image rotator format

Format 5: Flickr Flash Gallery
You can integrate your Morfeoshow Gallery with Flickr albums and sets

Format 6: The Flickr Slide Show
A part from flickr gallery you can also use morfeoshow for flickr flash slide show

Format 7: The Polaroid Gallery
Morfeoshow also gives you option to have cool Polaroid animation for your gallery.

Format 8: The Picasa Album
another great feature for Morfeoshow is that you can integrate it with your Picasa album just like flickr.

Upload Images and Gallery Settings
Now, after saving my work so far, I got back to main listing page for galleries. It displayed my galleries with few other options.
Click the upload button, this button is against each library.
The images panel is simple. There are two options available. Images can be loaded directly to the main folder through FTP or also add here. You can experiment FTP later, we will add images here manually.
After uploading a couple of Images, I came back to the main listings page once again, and click the button next to upload. It says Manage Images. This will help me assign Images and manage them.
Once the Galleries are set than they can be attached to different menus or even displayed at archive main page for Morfeoshow Galleries.
